This model started off with john lambert's book on the fairmile d, at the time thinking of building such a boat. initially i drew up a rough outline to 1/32 scale, then, satisfied with the size, drew up a working plan based on an raf long range rescue launch from march 1945.. The model pt boat site i was inspired to draw these "lines" by the hull lines in the book "allied coastal forces" by john lambert and al ross. my lines are slightly different from theirs (and i've added a few more lines) because the orientation of my hull is a little different and is raised slightly higher at the stern but hey i'm not. As to the norman ough drawings, they were printed in small scale in model boats around 1970/71 and i have the page for the 25' motor boat to hand - it would be adequate for scratchbuilding in that scale..
